The funeral of the late legendary actress Kabari has been completed. He was laid to rest at Banani Cemetery after Johar on Saturday (April 17) after receiving a state-of-the-art Guard of Honor.
Due to the Corona situation, it was not possible to take his body to the Shaheed Minar or FDC to pay his last respects to Kabari. This is what his son Shaker Chishti said.
Legendary actress Sarah Begum Kabari breathed her last at Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital in the capital at 12:20 pm on Friday (April 16) after suffering from Corona. He was 70 years old at the time of his death.

Earlier, Kabari was rushed to Kurmitola Hospital on the night of April 5 due to physical complications and positive corona. He was undergoing treatment there. But as there was no ICU in Kurmitola Hospital, the actress was sent to Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital. He was taken to the ICU around 2 pm last Thursday (April 8). The actress, who is known as the sweet girl of Bengali cinema, passed away while undergoing treatment there.
Kabari made her film debut in 1964 with Subhash Dutt’s ‘Sutorang’. Since then, he has given away many timeless movies. Besides acting, Kabari has also made her debut as a producer-director.
The first movie directed by Kabari is ‘Aina’. He recently created ‘Ai tumi seii tumi’. The movie has been made with a government grant. Besides directing, Kabari himself has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
