Inauguration of the Israeli Embassy in the UAE. The Zionist state of Israel has opened an embassy in the United Arab Emirates. According to Al Jazeera, the embassy was inaugurated on Tuesday (June 29th) by Israel’s new foreign minister, Yar Lapid, for the first time as a Zionist foreign minister.

Lapid reported the news in a Twitter message. A photo posted on Twitter shows Yar Lapid, accompanied by the UAE Minister of Culture and Science Development Nura Al-Kabi, cutting the ribbon in front of the embassy building. In the caption of the post, Lapid wrote, “Inauguration of the Israeli Embassy with the Emirati Minister.”

Earlier, an Israeli passenger plane carrying Yar Lapid crossed Saudi airspace and reached Abu Dhabi. The Saudi government last year opened its airspace to flights between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates recognized Israel as a state in 2020 at the initiative of former US President Donald Trump. The Israeli embassy in Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, opened earlier this year. At the same time, Tel Aviv set up a consulate in Abu Dhabi. The Israeli foreign minister officially inaugurated the embassy and consulate on Tuesday.

Earlier this month, the United Arab Emirates officially opened its embassy in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel.
