The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in India in October. According to the schedule, the World Cup will be held from October 16 to November 15. However, India’s corona situation has put the World Cup in danger.

If the current situation in India does not improve, the option of hosting the World Cup has been considered. And that will be on the soil of the United Arab Emirates. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has said that even if the World Cup is held in the United Arab Emirates, India will still be the host.

The BCCI is not going to give the World Cup to the United Arab Emirates. Moreover, they are not willing to exchange tournaments with Australia, the host of the 2022 T20 World Cup.

BCCI general manager Dhiraj Malhotra said, “We are talking to the ICC about what to do in any situation. It could be in the UAE. We hope the BCCI will organize it. The tournament may be held there. But the BCCI will be the organizer.
