English all-rounder Ben Stokes has been named Cricketer of the Year by Wisden Cricketers Almanac for the second time in a row. Stokes has been named the best cricketer of the 2021 issue of the Wisden Almanac, published on Wednesday (April 14).

In 2020, Stokes has averaged 57.27 runs in seven matches. The highest run was 741. Besides, he has taken 19 wickets in these matches.

Earlier, Stokes was recognized as the Cricketer of the Year in 2020 for his historic victory in the 2019 ODI World Cup and Ashes. Earlier, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli received recognition for three consecutive years.
